Salvador Dali Original Dental Drawing (1965)

Out of stock

Amazing Original Pen and Ink Drawing Salvador Dali drew in 1965 for his New York based Dentist Dr Kelman.

This was drawn by Dali on a blank page opposite the title page of the book titled “The World of Salvador Dali” that Dali dedicated to his dentist in 1965.

The page, which has been removed, measures 11 3/4″ x 9 7/8″ and features Dali’s Don Quixote (as the Dentist marked Kelman) working on his patient in the chair which is unmistakably Dali himself. (Upturned mustache a dead give away)

Dali also labeled himself with his signature below his image.

On the top right is the word “Pour” – French for “For”

Certificate of Authenticity from the Salvador Dali Archives Ltd, attest to it’s originality and will be accompanied with the drawing.

Dali’s Original Paintings, which routinely sell in the millions of dollars, along with his original drawings, (mostly book dedication drawings, similar to this one) are super hot in the major auction houses. Please see examples below of Recent Auction Results for Dali Originals.

The Book Title Page is NOT included in the sale of the Drawing listed here.
