One of the earliest dental themed limited edition cels produced.
The Big Pull is the rarest of all the Popeye dental editions created.
I have two very special pieces directly from the archives of the owner of Toon Art, the company that produced the Popeye editions.
Artist Proof 1/15 hand signed in gold ink (like the whole edition) by Myron Waldman,
and Pro/1 hand signed by Myron in black ink, both pieces are in mint condition.
Excellent Opportunity to add this rare cel that gets harder and harder to find, to your collection.

No Cavities (1997)
Hand Painted Prototype Cels

Sold Out Limited Edition cel from 1997.
"No Cavities" is a hand painted limited edition of 250 pieces hand signed by Myron Waldman (d.2006)
I have acquired two of three original prototypes created.
Prototype cels are the first cels painted to confirm the colors and then usually sent to the studio for final approval.
These two cels Pro/2 and Pro/3 were saved by the owner of the company that had the license to produce Popeye artwork.
Pro/2 is hand signed by Myron Waldman and Pro/3 is not. (Not unusual for the artist not to sign the prototypes.)They are priced differently and reflected in the drop down box above.
